Arizona High School Softball - Apollo loses to Mountain Pointe

The Mountain Pointe Pride softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Apollo Hawks to 8 in the Pride non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Mountain Pointe moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Pride host Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Colts in a 5A San Tan game on Monday, April 3. The Colts come into the game with a record of 9-7. Casteel lost 14-4 in their recent non-league game against Basha (Chandler, AZ)
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) in a 5A Northwest game, on Monday, April 3. Apollo will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 16-0 record after their 12-0 league win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ).
