The Hillcrest Trojans softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Bishop Gorman Gaels to 4 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Hillcrest improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Mayfair (Lakewood, CA) to clash with the Monsoons in a non-league game on Saturday, April 1. The Monsoons come into the game with a record of 8-5. Mayfair lost 13-0 in their recent league game against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA)
In their next game, the Gaels clash with the Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 1. Bishop Gorman will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 13-4 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA).
