The McQueen Lancers the visiting Chico Panthers softball squad by a count of 3-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Lancers (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Brentwood, CA). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Heritage nudged Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA), 9-0, in a non-league battle.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Churchill County for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 1. Chico will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Greenwave record now stands at 9-3.
