In Friday's non-league contest, the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL), by a margin of 11-2.
With the triumph, North Boone moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Vikings host Central (Burlington, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 1. The Rockets come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Central won 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Rochelle (Rochelle, IL)
In their next game, the Chargers play the Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 31. Dundee-Crown will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Hubs come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL).
