The Great Bridge Wildcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Kempsville Chiefs to 8 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Great Bridge improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hickory (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a Southeastern game on Tuesday, April 4. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 6-0. Hickory won 15-2 in their recent league game against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA)

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 3. Kempsville will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
