The Independence Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Harpeth Hall Honeybears to 5 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Independence moves its record to 4-7 on the year. The Eagles host Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN) to clash with the Golden Bears in a non-league game on Monday, April 3. The Golden Bears come into the game with a record of 7-4. Mount Juliet lost 9-6 in their recent non-league game against Ardmore (Ardmore, AL)
