Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pettus War Eagles (Pettus, TX), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they host Randolph for a 3A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Marion will face a Ro-Hawks squad coming off a 21-4 league loss to Cole (San Antonio, TX). The Ro-Hawks record now stands at 0-22.

With the loss, Pettus falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The War eagles host Runge (Runge, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a 1A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 0-7. Runge lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX)
