Pennsylvania High School Softball - Southern Huntingdon County bounces Mount Union

The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) softball the visiting Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA), 11-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Rockets (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA). The Bulldogs go into the Inter County - South bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Claysburg-Kimmel held off Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA), 25-0, in a league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to McConnellsburg for a non-league bout on Monday, April 3. Mount Union will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 14-9 league win over Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
