The Alexandria Trojans baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Monday.
The Trojans now own a 14-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ouachita Parish for a 5A District 2 test on Thursday, April 3. Alexandria will clash with a Lions team coming off a 6-0 league loss to West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Lions record now stands at 5-19.
With the defeat, Calvary Baptist Academy drops to 17-9 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA) to clash with the in a 2A District 1 test on Thursday, April 3. The go into the test with a record of 13-12. D'Arbonne Woods won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against North Webster (Springhill, LA)
