The Hickory Grove Christian Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Asheville Christian Academy Lions to 2 in the Lions non-league win on Monday.
The Lions now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to A.C. Reynolds for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Hickory Grove Christian will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 3-6.
With the defeat, Asheville Christian Academy drops to 5-6 on the year. The Lions host Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a NCISAA 4A test on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 9-7. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee won 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Murphy (Murphy, NC)
