The Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA) baseball got by the visiting St. Paul Knights (Worcester, MA), 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Grafton for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 2. Oxford will clash with a Gators team coming off a 4-3 league win over Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA). The Gators record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, St. Paul drops to 0-1 on the year. The Knights host Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
