The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) and the visiting Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD), saw Potomac School's baseball team gain a win over Southern Maryland Christian Academy by a tally of 12-2.

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Mighty Hoppers enter the Mid-Atlantic-MAC battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Georgetown Day prevailed over Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL), 10-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Mustangs face the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Old Line battle, on Thursday, April 3. Southern Maryland Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 7-5 non-league win over St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD).
