In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Newsome Wolves lacrosse squad scored a good 13-5 triumph over the Sickles Gryphons.
The Wolves (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of the Holy Names (Tampa, FL). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Academy of the Holy Names knocked off Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL), 16-4, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Gryphons meet the Plant Panthers (Tampa, FL) in a 2A D11 contest, on Thursday, April 3. Sickles will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 14-0 record after their 20-0 league win over Wharton (Tampa, FL).
