Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Shrine Catholic Knights (Royal Oak, MI) and the visiting Bishop Foley Ventures (Madison Heights, MI), saw Shrine Catholic's soccer squad hold off Bishop Foley by a count of 2-1.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Lutheran North was edged by Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Ventures battle the Greenhills Gryphons (Ann Arbor, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 3. Bishop Foley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Gryphons enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI).
