The The Oakwood School Eagles (Greenville, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Coastal Brigade (Newport, NC), 6-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Halifax Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Oakwood School will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Coastal Brigade moves to 1-8 on the year. The travel to Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC) to encounter the Heat in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. The Heat go into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Liberty Christian Academy lost 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Epiphany (New Bern, NC)
