The Archbishop Wood Vikings baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Roman Catholic Cahillite to 0 in the Vikings league win on Monday.
The Vikings now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neumann-Goretti for a test on Wednesday, April 2. Archbishop Wood will play a Saints team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Roman Catholic drops to 0-1 on the year. The Cahillite travel to Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA) to play the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 1-2.
