The Macomb Bombers baseball team scored 28 runs and held the host Kewanee Boilermakers to 3 in the Bombers non-league win on Monday.
The Bombers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Limestone for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. Macomb will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Kewanee drops to 0-6 on the year. The Boilermakers travel to Galesburg (Galesburg, IL) to clash with the Silver Streaks in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Silver Streaks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
