The Asheville Cougars lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Wade Hampton Generals to 3 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ School for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. Asheville will clash with a Greenies squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Greenies record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Wade Hampton falls to 0-5 on the year. The Generals travel to Woodmont (Piedmont, SC) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Woodmont lost 15-2 in their recent league challenge against J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC)
