In Monday's non-league match, the host Sandia Matadors softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the West Mesa Mustangs.

The Matadors (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Volcano Vista gained a win over Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 15-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 1. West Mesa will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 3-2 record after their 19-7 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
