Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Fredericksburg Academy Falcons (Fredericksburg, VA) and the host Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), witnessed Fredericksburg Academy's lacrosse squad hold off Veritas School by a count of 14-13.

The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA). The Gryphons enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, New Covenant was nipped by North Cross (Roanoke, VA), 18-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions meet the Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) in a Northern Virginia contest, on Friday, April 4. Veritas School will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 14-3 non-league loss to Highland (Warrenton, VA).
