Fans at Monday's non-league test between the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) and the host Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), witnessed La Plata's lacrosse squad gain a win over Patuxent by a count of 6-4.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars enter the Southern Maryland test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Thomas Stone nipped McDonough (Pomfret, MD), 7-5, in a league test.

Next, the Panthers battle the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 3. Patuxent will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record.
