Utah High School Softball - Granger defeated by Alta

The Granger Lancers softball squad (West Valley City, UT), was routed 12-2 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT)

With the triumph, Alta improves its record to 1-5 on the year. The Hawks host Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT) to face the Bengals in a 5A Region 6 contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Bengals enter the contest with a record of 5-6. Brighton lost 16-3 in their recent non-league contest against Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT)

The Lancers now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Corner Canyon for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Granger will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Midvale, UT). The Chargers record now stands at 2-10.
