In Monday's non-league match, the host Sullivan Redskins softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the Altamont Indians.
The Redskins (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Clinton was nipped by Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Cumberland Pirates (Toledo, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 1. Altamont will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL).
