Kentucky High School Softball - Lake Park bounces Boyd County

March 31, 2025: Ashland, KY 41102

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) and the host Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), observed Lake Park's softball team get by Boyd County by a tally of 10-5.

The Lancers (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 9-1 record. In their last bout, East Carter tipped Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 6-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Boyd County will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 league win over National Trail (New Paris, OH).
