Utah High School Softball - Brighton knocked off by Maple Mountain

March 31, 2025: Salt Lake City, UT 84121

In Monday's non-league test, the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) softball squad overwhelmed the host Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT), by a count of 16-3.

Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a 5A Region 7 test, on Tuesday, April 8. Maple Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Aviators go into the test with a 11-5 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT).

The Bengals (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Alta (Sandy, UT). The Hawks go into the 5A Region 6 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Alta toppled Granger (West Valley City, UT), 12-2, in a non-league test.
