Arizona High School Softball - Independence sneaks past Browne

March 31, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85033

The Independence Patriots softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Browne Bruins to 3 in the Patriots non-league win on Monday.

The Patriots now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a 5A Central Valley battle on Tuesday, April 1. Independence will confront a Rams team coming off a 15-10 league loss to Glendale (Glendale, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Browne moves to 9-3 on the season. The Bruins travel to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Jaguars in a 6A Metro battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 6-6. South Mountain lost 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ)
