In Monday's non-league match, the host Southwestern Sabers softball team scored a tight 15-9 win over the Edmondson-Westside Red Storm.
The Sabers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Forest Park (Baltimore, MD). The Foresters come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Red Storm battle the Carver Vo-Tech Bears (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 4. Edmondson-Westside will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
