Illinois High School Softball - Metro-East Lutheran succumbs to Gillespie

In Monday's non-league test, the Gillespie Miners (Gillespie, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), by a tally of 15-0.

Next, the Miners clash with the Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 3. Gillespie will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.

The Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record.
