The King Philip Regional Warriors softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Mansfield Hornets to 1 in the Warriors league win on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin for a Hockomock - Kelly - Rex battle on Wednesday, April 2.
With the loss, Mansfield moves to 0-2 on the season. The Hornets host Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA) to confront the Tigers in a Hockomock - Davenport battle on Wednesday, April 2. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
