In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Pottsville Apaches softball team scored a tight 8-6 win over the Scranton Rockets.

The Apaches (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Clarksville (Clarksville, AR). The Panthers come into the 4A Region 4 match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Clarksville nipped Ozark (Ozark, AR), 11-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rockets confront the Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR) in a 1A Region 4 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Scranton will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Rattlers come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR).
