In Monday's non-league test, the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY), by a tally of 12-2.

Next, the Dukes clash with the Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 1. York will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY).

The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their test against North Royalton (North Royalton, OH). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, North Royalton prevailed over Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH), 4-0, in a league test.
