The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Holliday Eagles (Holliday, TX) and the host Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX), saw Holliday's baseball team gain a win over Windthorst by a tally of 16-4.

The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Vernon (Vernon, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region I District 7 contest with a 6-14 record.

The Trojans now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archer City for a 2A Region II District 9 contest on Thursday, April 2. Windthorst will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Electra (Electra, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.
