In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Linn County Mustangs baseball team scored a close 3-1 victory over the Putnam County Midgets.
The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their match against North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record.
The Midgets now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Harrison for a non-league match on Thursday, April 2. Putnam County will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Maryville (Maryville, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
