Texas High School Softball - Claude succumbs to Lockney

In Tuesday's league test, the Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Claude Mustangs (Claude, TX), by a tally of 15-1.

Next, the Longhorns clash with the Floydada Whirlwinds (Floydada, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 test, on Friday, April 3. Lockney will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Whirlwinds go into the test with a 23-2 record after their 22-0 league win over Quanah (Quanah, TX).

With the loss, Claude moves to 0-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Ira (Ira, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 31. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Ira won 16-1 in their recent non-league outing against O'Donnell (O'Donnell, TX)
