The Belen Eagles crushed the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes baseball team by a count of 14-5 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clovis for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 5. Belen will face a Wildcats team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Elks/Elkettes face the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 5. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM).
