The Langston Hughes Panthers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Tri-Cities Bulldogs to 5 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Vikings go into the AAAAAA Region 4 match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Lakeside edged Chamblee (Chamblee, GA), 10-9, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Mays (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Mays was overwhelmed by Redan (Stone Mountain, GA), 15-0, in a non-league match.
