California High School Volleyball - Lancaster can't hold off Sylmar

In Friday's non-league battle, the host Sylmar Spartans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lancaster Eagles.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Westlake (Westlake Village, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Westlake was edged by Burroughs (Burbank, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 4. Lancaster will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Contreras (Los Angeles, CA).
