In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Pomperaug Panthers basketball team scored a tight 33-26 triumph over the Windsor Warriors.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 8. Pomperaug will attempt to better on its 18-5 season record. The Lancers enter the match with a 16-2 record after their 59-17 non-league win over North Haven (North Haven, CT).
With the defeat, Windsor moves to 13-8 on the year.
