The Del Norte Nighthawks lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Carlsbad Lancers to 7 in the Nighthawks non-league win on Friday.
The Nighthawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Bishop's (La Jolla, CA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Bishop's prevailed over Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA), 18-10, in a non-league match.
