South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans face the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, March 8. South Paulding will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Catamounts enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 5-0 league win over East Paulding (Dallas, GA).
The Patriots now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Paulding for a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Paulding County will face a Raiders team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Dalton (Dalton, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-6.
