With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Patriots host Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Monday, March 7. The Titans come into the test with a record of 0-0. Hopewell 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)

With the defeat, Ardrey Kell falls to 0-2 on the season. The Knights host Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, March 7. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-3. Lake Norman lost 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)
