Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Northwest Guilford for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 7. Forbush will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 10-10 non-league Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-0.

With the loss, Davie falls to 0-2 on the season. The War eagles host Carson (China Grove, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 8. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 0-1. Carson lost 14-1 in their recent non-league match against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
