The Mitchell Mustangs lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting Forest Wildcats to 4 in the Mustangs non-league win on Friday.
The Mustangs (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL). The Warriors go into the 2A D10 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Steinbrenner prevailed over Freedom (Tampa, FL), 21-0, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Creekside (St. Johns, FL). The Knights go into the 2A D3 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Creekside prevailed over Buchholz (Gainesville, FL), 18-7, in a league game.
