North Carolina High School Lacrosse - New Bern can't get by Laney

In Friday's non-league test, the host Laney Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the New Bern Bears.
The Buccaneers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hoggard for a Mideastern test on Tuesday, March 8.
In their next game, the Bears face the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 7. New Bern will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Cary (Cary, NC).
