In Friday's non-league battle, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) lacrosse squad the host Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC), by a count of 9-6.

Coming up next, the Patriots clash with the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle, on Thursday, March 10. Pinecrest will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Buccaneers come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to New Bern (New Bern, NC).
