Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Marbury Bulldogs (Marbury, AL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears confront the Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 7. Sipsey Valley will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Stampede enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL).

The Bulldogs now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elmore County for a 4A-5A Area 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Marbury will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
