In Friday's league battle, the host Pike County Pirates soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the Peach County Trojans.
The Pirates (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 2 battle with a 3-2 record.
The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Tattnall Square Academy nipped Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA), 3-2, in a league battle.
