Georgia High School Soccer - Upson-Lee nudges Sumter County

Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights face the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 8. Upson-Lee will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Dublin (Dublin, GA).

The Panthers now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Macon County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Sumter County will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
