The University Trojans softball team (Waco, TX), was routed 12-1 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX)
Coming up next, the Steers encounter the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 5. Big Spring will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Cougars enter the test with a 4-1 record after their 22-0 non-league win over Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX).
The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Hawks enter the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Red Oak prevailed over Cleburne (Cleburne, TX), 7-3, in a league test.
