The Southern Lee Cavaliers softball team (Sanford, NC), was tipped 9-8 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC)
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 7. Chatham Central will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).
The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders come into the Sandhills 3A/4A test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Richmond edged Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 10-2, in a non-league test.
